Walking in Whittier

This week has been interesting. The Alberg 35 for sale in Whittier looks very promising. If you have never been to Whittier I suggest going, as with any small Alaskan town it has its own intricacies.

I drove to Whittier recently to check out the Alberg 35 I hope to purchase and everything went very well.

These are some pics of the Alberg. The most anxiety filled part of my week has been the banks relaxed attitude towards my loan application. I guess they have other things going on besides La Leyenda. I look forward to the positive response from the bank and also anticipate the interest rates I will have to negotiate to make the purchase reasonable.

Fortunately the guy I am buying the boat form is exactly what I hoped for, a legend. Ole Don has plenty to say about La Leyenda, mostly great and some painfully realistic. No point in worrying about anything until the bank communicates my verdict.

Checklist:
1) Loan
2)survey
3)negotiate price
4)Buy
5)Insurance
6)work hard
7) Sail around the world!

Troy and I are going free diving and spear fishing this weekend in Whittier so I hope to score some photos and stories...
