Summer solstice is the best time to be in AK. Luckily for Troy and I solstice is around the weekend this year! We had a killer week working on planes and I picked up some extra work doing a fiberglass repair on a boat hull. So, after a week of working hard we decided to play hard. We went sailing, had an energetic ride to Talkeetna and danced at the Historic Fairview Inn to some live music, and during a brief intermission I am writing this blog post before I start loading up The Blue Bomber (Troy's ride) with our fishing gear because we are going to slay the Salmon at the Russian River tonight and tomorrow. Yep, solstice in Alaska my favorite.
